Sprocket 11/42 teeth 8, 9 and 10 speeds
- Mounting the system LIFT-MTB will allow you to mount your bike in single chainring, that is to say that you will use only one chainring at the front, which will be generally a 32 teeth, it is the type of assembly that all the recent bikes adopt because it is simpler, lighter and also effective.
- But if you have a 9 or 10 speed transmission you will certainly have a small cassette with sprockets equal or inferior to 11/34 teeth or 11/36 teeth. It will work with the kit but if you want to ride very steep, we propose the addition of a casette with different rear sprocket staging than the original 9 or 10 speeds and especially larger sprockets (42) that will allow more torque to the rear wheel while keeping the rest of the transmission (same derailleur, same chain and same shifter …) you have the equivalent of a “modern” transmission at lower cost!
- Included with a derailleur hanger that allows to keep the same derailleur (red piece on the picture)
