How to electrify your FAT BIKE ?

If you want to add a motor on a fat bike, transform a fat bike into an electric fat bike.
We propose a version of removable motor specific for fat bike with two lengths of crankshaft according to your bike:
Indeed the FAT BIKE have a width of bottom bracket much higher than a classic bike.
A FAT BIKE with a BSA case with thread will be 100mm, for a BB92 pressed case will be 115.5mm, we propose two versions of axis.
- Long axle for FAT BIKE bikes with a frame distance of 170mm at the rear wheel
- Extra long axle for FAT BIKE bicycles with a frame distance of 190mm at the rear wheel
How to check the wheelbase of your FAT BIKE ?
To check the rear wheelbase of your fat bike in order to transform your fat bike into an electrically assisted bike, you have to measure the distance between the frame and the rear wheel, you will also find this information on the bike’s technical sheet.
If the measurement is 170mm you will need a long shaft.
If the measurement is 190mm you will need an extra long shaft.
(for information on a classic bike the center distance is 135mm to 150mm, you will need a standard length axle)
