Composition of the electric hub motor kit for LIFT MTB
The wheel hub motor is a reduced epicyclic gear motor, which allows to have a high torque and to be able to climb easily any hill.

Check the diameter of the wheel

Rear wheel mounting brackets
To fix the wheel to the frame, it is necessary to have a frame with a 135 mm width between the two lugs, and also with open wheel lugs as shown in the picture.
This standard of open legs with wheel axle diameter 9 or 10 mm is nowadays still used for urban bikes, city bikes, road bikes, VTC (mountain bike) …
It is also used at most low-end entry-level ATVs.
Some higher end mountain bikes use thru axles with a closed bracket with 142mm / 148mm center distance, this type of frame will not be compatible with the wheel motor.
The number of gears on your bike
There are 2 versions depending on the number of sprockets on the rear wheel of your bike:
-1- The version with 1 / 3 / 6 or 7 speeds.
-2- The version with 8 / 9 / 10 speeds.
Note: 11 or 12 speed bikes will not be compatible.
