We are aware that for some people, the Chinese BAFANG motor which is a little less expensive is sufficient in terms of performance or solidity in the context of a softer use, such as the transformation of city bikes into electric bikes.

That’s why, in addition to our top of the range LIFT MTB / MADE IN FRANCE version, we offer the Chinese BAFANG BBS02 engines for sale.

Of course with some LIFT MTB modifications to make it more efficient and reliable for Mountain Bikes (MTB) use, or road / city bike or Hybrid bike version.

Without matching our LIFT-MTB mid drive motor in terms of ground clearance, performance, finish and especially adaptability and solidity, the BAFANG / LIFT-MTB version LIFT-MTB and adapted to Mountain Bikes (MTB) use, much more than a basic version of the BAFANG sold elsewhere.

Being basically kit manufacturers, we have the knowledge of electronics management, the possibility to modify or manufacture very specific parts for these engines thanks to our CNC machining tools.

In short, we are not like some simple salesmen and try to bring a more to this product to value it.

LIFT MTB modifications:

You can therefore benefit from our know-how in the field of reprogramming and the development of BAFANG power curves.

The modified power curve of the BAFANG BBS will allow a measured consumption while exploiting at best the power of the kit pedal bike.

Our BAFANG by LIFT MTB kit is assembled with some parts as standard, such as a 4 points adapter aluminium 7075 black anodized, equipped with an aluminium plate type narrow wide 38t in order to limit the derailments, extension cable, specific spacer…

Compare the rates taking into account these options, which for us are included in our base price, but often optional for competitors …

Engine versions:

Concerning the versions offered for sale, knowing that we do not want to sell “electric motorcycles”, but efficient and light electric Mountain Bikes (MTB), we have simply selected 3 versions.

Only 36V, with 3 powers : 250w (road use), 350w or 500w (off road use).

This type of power is largely sufficient when the engine is well adjusted with well optimized power curves, a contained power avoids the breaks of transmission type chain or body of cassette, hubs…
